How do we calculate the pricing of an apparel product?

How do we calculate the pricing of an apparel product?

We calculate the price of an apparel product using four basic components.

  1. Base Price

The base price is the product price of a plain garment.
  1. Printing Charges

Printing charges are calculated depending on the area your design file occupies. Currently, Printrove offers two different printing techniques; DTG & DTF. You can compare the pricings of both printing techniques in the below table.

DTG
DTF
White Apparel
0.8 per sq. inch
Minimum charges: Rs. 80
1.2 per sq. inch
Minimum charges: Rs. 100
Coloured Apparel
1.5 per sq. inch
Minimum charges: Rs. 120
1.2 per sq. inch
Minimum charges: Rs. 100

You can refer to the following article to understand your preference for the printing technique. What is the difference between DTG and DTF printing technique?
  1. GST

The GST rate applicable on apparel products is 5%.
  1. Shipping Charges

The shipping charges for an order are calculated based on the total order weight and we charge a slab rate of Rs. 60 per 500 gms. For COD orders, an additional service charge of Rs. 50 is applicable.

Therefore, the final price of an apparel product at Printrove is Base Price + Printing Charges + GST + Shipping charges.
