Printrove's REST principal API allows your custom-built store to:-
- Add Designs to your Design Library
- Create and Confirm Orders
- List your Products in the Product Library
Your custom-built store can take all of the above actions automatically without you having to intervene.
What is an API?
-
API stands for Application Programming Interface. It allows an application to extract information from a piece of software and use that information in their own application.
- In simple words, it is a software intermediary that allows two applications to talk to each other, just like a messenger that delivers your request (Your online store) to the provider (Printrove) that you're requesting it from and then delivers the response back to you.
Why do you need an API Integration?
If you have a
Custom Website or if your store is built using any other E-commerce platform (apart from Shopify or Woocommerce), you can use Printrove's API to automate the entire process.
Practical Scenario:
For instance, if your store is built on
Magento and has
hundreds of orders coming in every day, it becomes practically difficult to place each and every order manually on Printrove.
To make this easy, you can post a request to the "
Create Order
" API with all the required parameters (Customer details) and place a large number of orders in no time!
We’re working on integrating with the most popular E-commerce platforms and marketplaces with our API so that you can easily hook them up in One-tap.
Currently, Printrove has One-Tap Integrations with
Shopify and
Woocommerce.
So, if your store is built on Shopify or Woocommerce, you can easily integrate it with Printrove and automate the entire cataloging and order placement process
without the API

Printrove's API Documentation
Printrove's API will automate sending orders from your online store to our system, so you can stroll back and not lift a finger!
However, connecting your store to Printrove via API is a bit tedious, you can achieve this only if you have a developer on board or if you're tech-savvy. You can even hire a programmer to do that for you.

Pro Tip:
It is best recommended that you prioritize building your store, marketing, and getting the sales first before you indulge in API Integrations.
